Lynn is a memorable person. She came into the showroom and basically interviewed Welcome Home Kitchen & Bath to see if she could work with us in redesigning her kitchen. Lynn was very specific on her needs for the kitchen for she loves to cook and the kitchen first and foremost had to be functional. She also wanted it to be truly unique and reflect her personality.

The initial task was to look at her existing kitchen with the possibility of enlarging the kitchen by including the laundry room. Through the early stages of the design, it was proposed that the storage area also be included in the kitchen design. This became the “quirky” area. We worked together to finalize the design.

Our greatest enjoyment was completing the”quirky” area's design. This area included the placement of the new refrigerator, oven, and microwave. Open shelving was diagonally placed between the appliances for added interest. Both ends were capped with angle wall cabinets, including seedy glass doors and angle base cabinets.

The island, as well as the “quirky” area were in Black Antique Distressed to add definition and interest to the kitchen. The Brazilian Cherry island top helps to set off the island and makes this a focal point.

The design of the kitchen from the special drawer cabinet for her cook top to the beautiful corbels on the raised bar really show what a magnificent design can be achieved when we work with and understand the individuals. This is a one of a kind kitchen and was developed along with and specifically for Lynn and Jim. It was a wonderful opportunity and privilege to work with them on this project.

Some of our most valuable assets are the satisfied clients we've helped
with their remodeling projects.
